 "Laura has been relentless in her customer focus, and application of research to improve customer experience. She is often the first person to volunteer to help with customer experience research for her team (Federal), including the hard, boring things that even professional researchers would like to avoid. Most recently, I set up a plan to begin applying lessons learned from research sessions, by conducting a systematic review of the Federal sections (after prioritizing and ranking the sections to review in Federal). This would be the first effort of its kind, and I was worried it would be too much work for the Fed team to help with until the trough, or even after 2ndpeak. But, after reviewing the plan, Laura agreed that this application of research learnings to improve the current product experience was necessary. And, she began working on some aspects of the plan without any direction from me, Sybil or Tim; including: coordinating with stakeholders, setting up a kick-off meeting and starting to set up Federal screens in Miro for our quality/problem review.
